Ilustrator tutorials.

The 1st video showed how graphics can be edit in scaling and image size. The import documents has many ways to open a file and exporting your file. its image has a great quality of scaling that will look sharp as if its huge. This application is great way for designing many graphics. The 2nd video showed how to set up a file. To choose how the format you want, how it will be finish and how it will be exported. Every aspect of how your file should be setup to start working on your design. I learn that this application has many great features than photoshop and in design combine of images because in no other way are the graphics ver visible in those application. I was very open minded when i saw how clear it looked even if it was zoomed as tall as a skyscraper. The effects were out minded and these videos will help me get started on my newsletter by knowing how to set up my document and laying it out, such as size, and image format. This application will work out well for a newsletter.

News Letter

· Nameplate – the banner on the front of the newsletter.

· Content (and number of articles and entries) – The content is the amount of viewers you attract.

· Table of contents – The organization your article can develop.

· Masthead – The second page in the newsletter.

· Titles and headers – The information of what the main topic its going to be focused on.

· Page numbers – The amount of length the newsletter is going to be.

· Bylines – it’s a catch phrase of a person connecting with its audience.

· Continuation lines – A continuation of the page to let the readers know what will be coming next

· Pull quotes – To attract great attention to the audience

· End signs – An indication where to end the story

· Photos/illustrations – Different layout to make it a creative.

· Mailing labels – A special way to mail it to yourself.

i enjoy his brochure because it had a great layout. It showed what it was about, explain in great context of information. It showed many images that conducted with the brochure. To be honest i don't think i don't dislike nothing about his brochure, it was readable and it had a contrast of white black which you can read clearly and edible. A question i have for shawn nieves brochure is that how would he conduct an aspect of a challenge in his brochure?

Reflection Blog

The purpose of this portfolio was to show colleges my work through the course Visual Design. Its targeted to Collages that i apply to next year. This portfolio can be used for other students entering this class next year by demonstrating works from our peers. I created this portfolio from a PDF set up, well i applied all my work from last semester to the PDF file and try to organized the system. I streamline the file size by going to image size and resize it to its appropriated setting. In my opinion my work wouldn't be an example because i didn't have all my files to be placed into my PDF file. It wasn't really organized how i planned it to be. I didn't really organize my self with each file.

Narritives

Scissors Lab 4 – in this lab we had to make a vector shape and write in it. Also we had to go around a scissor and write around it. I used the type tool to write around it and make it fancy. . I found this lab very interesting because we used many tools to make this lab insanely attractive to our viewers. I’m skill to use these tools in the future and make something come out from boldness into a life our picture. In this lab I had difficulty applying the curve of writing the tool upside down. In the future I’ll like to fallow instructions and focus on the lesson.

Lab P4_8 – In this lab we had to go outside and take pictures outside of our school. Than we had to put the pictures in alignment on the application indesign. Also write a brief summary about it. I didn’t have enough time to finish so I only wrote about one. If I did had time I would had made it very complex with the skills I leanred in indesign. I had difficulty with this project because I wasn’t sure of what was being done. In this future I’ll expect to pay attention.

Lab_P3_3 – In this lab we had to do affects in the picture we took outside the school. I had fun applying these affects. It showed me that I can do many affects such as blur, and changing the opacity of a picture. These elements attracts the picture in a better style. I had no difficulties within this project because it was fun to be apply to do. In the future I’ll expect a more challenging artistic way of matter.

Lab 2 – In this lab I learned about many brushes and how the brushes were used. They structure were based on the width of the brush and how they are different kind of styles of brushes. I had no difficult within this project because I fallow the steps and enjoyed the time spended.

Project 4 – In this project we had to do an advertisement about using our skills we had learned so far. I had difficulty within this project because it was hard to make shapes into lungs. I had to apply many things to make it look realistic. In the future I’ll like to know a better way to do this project faster in a short amount of time.

Project 3 – In project 3 we had to make our own bisnuse cards. I took my time on this and tried to make it simple with lots of details being applied. In the future I want to pick up my standard at a higher rate and learn much more.

Project 2 – In this projected I designed an artistic way of my imagination. I really liked how it came out with bright colors. I blended many things into it to make it like a world of art that you see in museums. In th future I’ll like to take my time on this project and make it look very professional so my piers can see what I can be capable of doing.
